A new school year means a new Billesley School Council and here they are…

Billesley School Council ready to make our school an even better place to learn.
Today, we had our first official school council meeting where we got to talk to Mrs Clifton and Miss Zielinska about our new roles and how we can help to make Billesley an even better school for all its pupils.
The job of a school councillor
We will meet every 2 week to discuss a range of important issues like school dinners, playtimes, lessons, trips and clubs and will talk to different member of staff to suggest ways our school can be improved.
We will also have to lead discussions in our own classes, asking our class mates what their thoughts are on various issues. Once we have collected these ideas we will inform teachers and Mrs Clifton so that changes and improvements can be made.
