On Friday 20th April Matthew Tew from Billesley Tennis Centre came to deliver tennis sessions to our year 3 children in accordance with the LTAs (lawn Tennis Association) mini Tennis roadshow. The children thoroughly enjoyed the experience and we would like to say thankyou to Matt for coming and in and sharing his expertise.

Year 5/6 boys reach HMS Cup Final
On Wednesday our year 5/6 boys football team beat Colmore Primary School 2-1 in a close fought semi-final. This win earnt the boys the right to play at Aston Villa’s training ground (Bodymoor Heath) next Tuesday evening at 5.30pm.
This is the first time in the history of the school that we have reached this final so we see it as a great achievement by the boys and we are very proud and excited for Tuesday.
Billesley boys football team continue their success!
Last day of the spring term the year 5/6 team took on The Meadows primary school in the HMS shield quarter finals. It was really close and could have gone either way at 1-1 with some great saves by Max and good defending from the team. They went on to win 2-1 and book a place in the semi finals against Colmores.
